Here's Mr. Vine!!!
Thanks Mr. Morose - my very first blog. (and probably last!)
Well we had an amazing day with the students and teachers having any number of firsts. We went dogsledding, snowshoeing, visited the Citadel and Musee du Fort, ate very well and had an amazing day. There was a little excitement on bus two when on the way to the Dogsledding we slid off the road just prior to the entrance. Fortunately the 17 feet of snow on the side of the road provided a nice soft bed and after the other driver, Charlie, dug us out we jumped on his bus and joined the others. Everyone was fine and that bumped up the excitement level right out of the chute.
The kids were a little wired yesterday but were on their best behaviour today and outside of having to dress some of them in our extra hats, gloves and snowpants, were top marks for their behaviour. I guess -30 really isn't that cold if you dress appropriately! I may have to rethink letting the students stay in at Miner when it hits -15!
Bonne Soir.
